  Carpet Right? More Like Carpet Wrong!! Pathetic excuse of a company... Even their so called 'top of the range' is cheap & nasty carpet. I unfortunately booked Carpet Wrong to do my entire upstairs, the morning it was due to be fitted I called the store as there was no sign of the fitters to be told 'We have nothing in the diary'???? Not what you want to hear after booking the day off work! When they do eventually turn up, the quality of the fitting is extremely poor with the carpet lifting at the edges within days of being fitted, not stretched properly leaving baggy areas, making the carpet look like it had been fitted by a ten year old! They also damaged the new freshly painted skirting boards leaving black scuff marks all over them! I was offered £50 compensation for their incompetence, (yes £50 after spending over £1600 with them!) I have spent more on phone calls and fuel calling and visiting the store trying to get it, only to be told 'our systems are down!' Funny that, as they were up and running perfectly when taking my order' Oh and good luck getting through on the phone if you do want to get hold of someone! Constantly rings out or automated message stating 'we cannot take your call right now' When asked why is so difficult to get through I had all the usual excuses - phone lines are down, only one person in the office, all the staff are off sick, our systems are down, blah blah blah.... it really is laughable for a 'National Chain' Overall a really poor experience, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!
